Spore Trap
Spore Trap air samples are heavily relied upon to determine the levels of airborne fungal contamination, both pre and post remediation. However, evaluating air samples is not an exact science, nor is it standardized across laboratories. One of the limitations of spore trap analysis is that it relies heavily on the knowledge of the analyst.

Understanding the limitations of the method, sources of laboratory error, and why results can vary so much from laboratory to laboratory, can help you better understand your results.  The more you understand your lab data, the better you can consult your clients.
